Just had a new furnace and central air unit installed. Schaafsma team was awesome - including sales, scheduling and install team. On time, friendly and professional - patiently answered my questions. The install area was left in pristine condition. All traffic areas protected.
We got quotes to put in a high velocity system in our boiler-heated house with odd attics. A standard system wasn't going to work and our only other option was to not do the whole house (and just do upstairs) or to do mini-splits. Other companies tried to convince us to do a simpler install (which would have also been significantly cheaper) like mini-splits, but Shaffsma was eager to try this tricky installation. After a few consults with the sales team and the install team, we started right on schedule. The installers were knowledgeable, courteous, and most important to my young family, took COVID precautions very seriously. Carl and Cam kept a tight schedule, cleaned up after themselves, and were very understanding to the odd setup with me working from home with a hyper-scared rescue dog. They communicated their plans and needs well to me, and I always felt comfortable and empowered. We're so thankful for the whole-home AC for this summer!

During our annual furnace check up (a part of their Red Carpet maintenance plan) their tech Drew indicated our heat exchanger needed to be replaced as their was a potential for carbon monoxide leak. However, this would be covered by the Red Carpet plan. He was able to come back the following day and install a new exchanger. He was great - and a special thank you to the scheduling team who adjusted schedules so he could come back the next day.
